Software for the companies that move things
QuickMove Technologies makes cloud software for logistics businesses: freight forwarding, warehouse management, transport management, and moving and relocation, with the CRM, billing and accounting around them in one platform. The company is based in Bengaluru, with an office in Austin, Texas, and its customers are logistics and moving companies in several countries.
For a moving company, the sale starts in the customer's home, where a surveyor walks from room to room working out what has to be packed. QuickMove wanted that visit done on a phone or tablet and finished with a quotation, not a clipboard and a follow-up email. We built the app that does it, and we have stayed on to consult on the company's SaaS products.

A survey that starts with the enquiry
The surveyor records the customer, the moving dates, where the move starts and ends, and the services wanted, so everything that follows hangs off a single record.
Room-by-room inventory
Items are listed room by room, with packing requirements, access details and special instructions noted as they are found: the detail that decides how many people and which vehicle a move needs.
From survey to signed quotation
The app works out materials, manpower, vehicles and cost from what was surveyed, and produces the documents a mover needs: a customer survey summary, a detailed survey sheet, a costing summary and the quotation itself, signed on screen by the customer.
Works without a signal
Surveys happen in basements and lift lobbies. The app keeps working offline, and syncs with the QuickMove platform once it is back online.
On iOS and Android
One survey app for both platforms, on the App Store and Google Play, which QuickMove offers to movers as Move Survey Quote Pro.
Consulting on the SaaS products
We now consult on QuickMove's SaaS offerings, working alongside its own team. In its chief executive's words, what began as advice on the mobile applications became a redesign of the whole product.
